WYD27 THEME

Every World Youth Day has a theme. The theme for WYD27 in Seoul is:

"Take courage, I have overcome the world!"
(John 16:33).

These words were spoken by Jesus Christ to his disciples at the Last Supper. Pope Francis chose this verse to encourage young people to face global challenges with hope and bold confidence grounded in faith.

Baylee the Kookaburra is full of joy, faith, and Aussie spirit.

He roams the places we call home - The Central Coast, the Northern Beaches and the North Shore. No matter where he goes, he reminds us we are called to lead with all our pilgrims in the encounter of Jesus Christ, made friends and be the light of the world.
